  • ½ kg Beef
  • 700 gram Cauliflower (Gobhi) small pieces
  • 1 cup Oil
  • 1 Onion large, sliced
  • 6-7 cloves Garlic
  • 1 piece Ginger 2 inch
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Whole Spices Powder
  • 1 Bayleaf
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper Powder
  • ½ cup Fresh Coriander Leaves chopped
  • 4 Green Chilies chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes medium


  • Take a pressure cooker and add oil in it. Add onion and garlic in it. When brown then add whole spices powder, salt, chili and turmeric. Fry meat in the mixture and add water for cooking for 20 minutes.
  • Open the cooker and see if the meat is soft. Then add chopped tomatoes and stir. When the oil will start separating from the masalah then add cauliflowers. Cook it and then cover the lid 20 minutes.
  • See if the cauliflower is soft as required then add whole spices powder and then garnish it with green chilies.
  • Your delicious Gobhi Gosht is ready. Serve hot.


  • You can also cook it in a skillet but the timings would be increased.
